The main point of this topic seems to oppose the "Split Mind" article's conclusion. Whereas the "Split Mind" article states that many of our failed goals are due to the fact that we have not made a conscious decision of what we want (This article can be found in this site's homepage). Now, apparently, in this topic people are discussing how if we dwell in the "thinking, planning entity", suffering arises.

Yes, suffering arises in the absence of a conscious decision that we don't want to "dwell in the thinking, planning entity" ... although the whole notion of "dwell in" is a recipe for thinking.
