Sounds like you're assuming that I'm talking about spontaneity as a goal. I'm not. The unlearning comes before the spontaneity, what I'm saying. Yeah, I see unlearning, or seeing through the illusion, as extremely useful, and really it's all that can be 'done'. It's fundamentally different from asking endless questions and getting endless answers. The 'knowing' structure itself can potentially collapse. I think it must collapse, eventually.

Mind is the only trouble maker here. Mind is also the only problem solver and solution creator here.

Yes, unlearning is for the mind. But Niz said, 'the mind must undo what the mind has done'. That's a process, if an infinitely varied one. Maybe it's time to throw Niz on the 'books to burn' heap, too. Ramana said:

Mind is the only trouble maker here. Mind is also the only problem solver and solution creator here. Mind is a machine that can nothing but repeat itself again and again. Any real change inside the machine comes from outside of the machine.

Mind is a machine that can nothing but repeat itself again and again. Any real change inside the machine comes from outside of the machine. That would mean that mind is some kind of entity which it is not.

Not sure, exactly, how these two quotes conflict. Niz' quote seems incomplete and out of context.
